Corporate COVID-19 Swab Test
The Ministry of Health and the Deparment of Occupational Safety & Health have been setting guidelines to assist employers in creating a safe work environment for their workforce. Employers are to comply with legal requirements put in place, setting up workplace procedures to better mitigate the risk of COVID-19.
We provide two most common test methods available in Malaysia:
PCR Polymerase Chain Reaction Test
PCR is the most accurate test method available (up to 99.9%), which in turn makes it more time consuming and costly. It is noteworthy that this test can only determine an active coronavirus infection but not virus contraction in the past.
RTK Antigen Test | Antigen Rapid Test Kit
RTK test has an accuracy ranged from 75% - 90%. It is dependent on the viral proteins that may or may not be related to coronavirus to get a reactive or otherwise result. RTK test can provide results as fast as15 minutes after the swab.
